This site stores nothing on your device.
No cookies, no local storage, nothing written to your browser at all. That is also why there is no consent banner. A banner would be asking permission for something that does not happen, and most of them store something themselves in order to remember your answer.
Storing nothing is not the same as knowing nothing, so here is the rest of it plainly.
What is collected
Analytics
Which page was viewed, and roughly where in the world the request came from. Two services measure it. Neither sets a cookie or can follow you to any other site.
- Cloudflare Web Analytics also records how quickly the page loaded. It assigns you no identifier.
- Plausible Analytics also records which site sent you here, how far you scrolled, how long you stayed, your city, and your browser and device. It counts a few actions too, like following a link off the site or finishing the checklist. It stores no IP address, and its visitor count resets every 24 hours, so it can’t link today’s visit to tomorrow’s.
Request logs
Cloudflare serves this site, so it necessarily receives your IP address, browser, and the address you asked for (the same information any web server needs to answer a request at all). That includes a shared Pre-Flight Checklist result link: its address carries the encoded answers, so opening one sends them to Cloudflare with the request.
Anything you email me
If you write to enquiries@aymandiab.com, I have your message and your address. Mail is hosted by Proton. Nothing on this site sends mail on your behalf.
What is not
- Cookies: none, on any page. No local storage, session storage, or IndexedDB either.
- Accounts, logins, forms, or comment boxes. There are none to fill in.
- Advertising, retargeting, or tracking pixels. No third-party embeds beyond the two analytics services named above.
- Your answers to the Pre-Flight Checklist. It scores entirely in your browser, and the site keeps no record of them (no database, no account), which is why it can promise results with no email. Plausible never receives your answers or your score; it counts only that a checklist was started, finished, or shared. Opening a shared result link is the one case where answers leave your browser; see Request logs above.
Why, and for how long
The analytics exist so I can tell whether anything here is read, and how people found it. They show me counts, not people. On a site this small a single visit can still stand out: one reader, one city, one kind of phone. But neither service gives me a name, an address, or a way to recognise you on a later visit.
Cloudflare lets me see its analytics for the past six months, and after the first week keeps only a sample of roughly 10% of the raw data. It does not say when it deletes the rest. Plausible keeps its statistics for as long as I keep the account, and deletes them when the account is closed.
Request logs exist because serving a page requires them. I don't see them. Cloudflare shows me totals, plus any requests its security rules flag. What Cloudflare keeps for its own operations falls under its privacy policy. I keep no copy of any of this.
Who processes it
Cloudflare hosts the site and provides one set of analytics. Plausible provides the other; it is based in Estonia and processes and stores its data in the EU. Proton hosts the mail. There is no one else: no analytics broker, no CRM, no newsletter platform, no chat widget.
Your rights
Under Quebec's Law 25 and the GDPR you can ask what personal information I hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask me to delete it. In practice, unless you have emailed me, the honest answer is that I hold nothing that identifies you. Ask anyway if you want it confirmed.
